Moving poetry

June 24, 2008

I, too, dislike it: there are things that are important beyond hauling your stuff from place to place. Hauling it, however, with a perfect contempt for it, one discovers that there is in those boxes after all a bit of who you are and would rather not toss out with the half-used hair gels and empty jewel cases. There are also sometimes cat paws sneaking into the lower left hand corner.

  1. Emily Says:

The move comes in on little cat feet?

  2. SJ Says:

No, sorry, just changing referents in mid-thought. Little cat paws sneak in to the corner of the picture of the move, not the move itself.

  3. Moe Says:

SJ, I hope everything is going well with your move! I am thinking of you. Also, I’ll be in Phoenix for a week starting tomorrow. Talk to you later.
